A teenage girl, orphaned and alone, is taken by a religious
cult who need a last member to complete their purpose for the cult. There are
five members and they need a sixth to complete the ‘Star of David’ which is the
symbol of the cult (the six points of the star equal six members.) The members
of the cult believe they are descendants of Jesus’ Bloodline and follow
strictly the orders they are given. The cult believe that Jesus contacts them
with different tasks that they have to complete otherwise they are failures to
him. The girl is finally enticed into the cult and is made to perform many
tasks to fit in as part of the cult but is brainwashed into thinking it is for
the better good. The tasks include torturing, stealing, stalking and terrifying
victims of choice. As the girl is performing these tasks, she learns more about
the Bloodline and becomes more in depth with the belief. This leads her to
complete many tasks of her own which she believes will help her cult fulfill the
needs of Jesus.
Interesting and enigmatic but a little bleak- is there no hope of redemption? That might create more dramatic possibilities for a variety of tones.
