This is the final cut of the trailer for VI.

Ancillary Task: Film Website

After conducting some research into film websites (click here) and having created a website for our production company, we decided to create a website specifically based on VI in order to further advertise the production and give fans and audiences a platform upon which they can directly view and read more about the film, as well as signing up to receive exclusive updates or place inquiries.

Research into Film Websites

I created this prezi to demonstrate some of my research and awareness to the features of a working film website. With this knowledge I will be able to create a much more effective website for my own production and will be able to incorporate any ideas that inspire me.

After creating a Facebook page for Venom Entertainment I found that it was common for an individual film to also have a Facebook page of its own. Using research from my study of Facebook pages I was able to create a Facebook page with links to our Twitter page, Venom Entertainment company page and also included an 'about' section which included links to both the VI Movie website and the Venom Entertainment website, competitions to engage our audience, posters and encouragement to buy the magazines that VI is featured in. By creating this extra page I have been able to further advertise our production and create a focus on the actual production rather than just the production company.
